Tesla Motors uses JavaScript throughout this website to deliver the best possible user experience. As a result some of the pages of the site may function improperly if your browser has JavaScript disabled or does not support JavaScript capabilities.
Though all browsers are different, a JavaScript enable option is usually present in either the security or content areas of the browser's tools menu. We have provided below specific instructions for three industry-standard browsers: Internet Explorer, FireFox, and Safari.
Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.x, 6.x, and 5.x
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
- In Internet Options dialog box select the Security tab.
- Click Custom level button at bottom right. The Security settings dialog box will pop up.
- Under Scripting category check the Active Scripting radio box.
- Click OK twice to close out.
- Click on the browser refresh button.
FireFox 2.x, 1.5
- Open FireFox.
- Select Options from the Tools menu bar.
- Select the Content tab.
- Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
- Click the OK button to save settings.
- Click on the browser refresh button.
Older versions of FireFox
- Open FireFox.
- Select Options from the Tools menu bar.
- Select the Web features tab.
- Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
- Click the OK button to save settings.
- Click on the browser refresh button.
Safari (Mac)
- Open Safari.
- Select Preferences from the Safari menu.
- Click Security.
- Check both Enable Java and Enable Javascript.
- Click on the OK button.
- Click on the browser refresh button.
Firefox (Mac)
- Open Safari.
- Select Preferences from the Firefox menu.
- Select the Content tab.
- Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.
- Click the OK button to save settings.
- Click on the browser refresh button.
